TechniqueMedium Diving Crankbaits (7'-12')SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructurePointsYou could catch all three species of bass doing this technique. The smallies were on flatter points with gravel/chunk rock mix. Large mouth and spots came on steeper banks with bigger chunk rock. We had 15lbs in just a couple hours once the sun got up. Stay in the wind if possible. 4.30 smallie and 4.27 largemouth 2.40 spot. I had the best luck on Norman NXS but they aren’t listed on Omnia right now.

TechniqueDeep Diving Crankbaits (13'+)SeasonSummerStructureBrush PilesCaught a couple quality fish cranking deeper brush piles. Mostly fished the flooded bushes since the lake is up to 922.5. Caught several flipping a beaver style bait. Hadn't fished in a month but seemed that they are starting to move out to summer destinations. Water temp was 87 at surface. Best 5 would have been 14lbs maybe.
