Caught this guy with a shallow diving blue gill presentation. Caught a couple little ones.

To get bites presentation had to be quite slow and subtle. Fish weren’t interested in a largo shad, shakey head, topwater, drop shot, or larger Texas rig but would grab the 3” pitt boss and not let go.

This weekend we caught a few fish pitching jigs on laydowns including a 3 pound largemouth and 2 pound smallmouth. We also caught some really nice smallmouth fishing docks with rip rap with a ned rig including this 3 1/2 pound smallmouth that my brother caught and a few other 2-3 pounders.

Caught the limit up at the dam. Cold and rainy but they were hittin the acme blade left and right.
