Very slow morning for bass fishing, but the wacky rig was still kicking it.

These fish were crashing the banks eating frogs and bluegill under the lily pads. Concentrate on the lilypads that had milfoil mixed under it and leave the frog hang in the openings of the pads. Finding mixed matted grass was key. Work edges first and then into matt. Numerous 4-5 pound largemouth

Fishing 0-5 feet put numerous largemouth in the boat. Most fish hit directly off shore in less than 1 foot of water. Anything out deeper would typically smack the spinnerbait as it ticked the grass tops. Be aware though as numerous large muskies would also chase not only the bait but the fish when you caught them.
