A lot of small bites on the wacky rig in 5-7ft of water around rocks and ledges. There were bigger bites using the Nessie glide baits/swimbaits in both the 5” and 7”. I started with the 5” and had plenty of bites. I figured I’d upsize and try to draw some larger fish up and it worked. I had two large bites and one take on the 7” raw Nessie

With the water cold, the bite was slow. A few cold nights dropped the temp to 45F. The finesse football jig got but a few times and was the hot bait of the day. A few bites on the wacky worm as well but that seems to always work no matter the time of year.
