Main channel point in about 10 feet of water. A little under 4lb.

Fishing still tough. Nighttime fishing with spinner baits and dragging jigs seems to be working best.If you can find small mouth you have a good chance on catching good bag. Deep rock points and banks are the places to look.

That’s my go to lure to cover water, I absolutely love it, but after a while with no luck, we switched over to the kitechs, and finally started getting bit. That was the biggest player of the day, caught some stripe and bass on it. The biggest bass of the day was on a ned rig though surprisingly. So never underestimate the power of the ned rig. Seemed like you had to be making bottom contact to get bit. Took several cast sometimes to trigger a bite. I would switch up to a Neko rig and get a few more to commit when school would quit biting.

Me and my dad got to get after them on Watts while we were in town and found one creek on the first day we were there and went to catching everyday. We caught them actually on a 8” zoom dead ringer worm. But this one was my biggest out of the two days I fished it was 3.6. But we found numbers of 2-3 pounders around clean riprap banks in 3-6ft of water. However the bigger 3-3.7 class fish were found in isolated grass clumps and flipping the worm in a dragging it out.

The bite on Watts Bar is tough. If you run enough bank, docks, and lay downs you can catch some. Skipping Neko rigged wacky worm under over hangs on bluff walls and under docks, flipping bug in lay downs.
