Main lake flats and starting in mouth of pockets heading towards backs of creeks. Shaking a minnow following schools feeding on Shad or throwing small under spin around is getting bites. I keep a walking top water ready for when they come up breaking. I like the larger ones that allow me to make a long cast.

Fish was schooling around marinas and docks and they best way I found out to catch them was on a white war eagle spinner bait with a keitech trailer! But when they slowed down I could pick them apart with a drop shot

Fish starting to move back up on lay downs. Caught several but the quality isn’t the best. Catching some on a fluke also.

Watts Bar is fishing extremely stingy this time of year. Many fish can be caught but quality is hard to come by. Bait is plentiful across the lake and fish are keying in on small bait. A small jerkbait and topwater match the profile of a small threadfin shad perfectly. Use the wind and current to your advantage to find areas where bait fish are concentrated.
