During the head of the summer, one of the most productive patterns on Boone lake is fishing the river channel bluffs, where the river hits and leaves the bank. Flipping a 3/4 oz green pumpkin structure jig right next to the bluff wall, and fishing it back several feet can produce quality fish. This works well from July to the end of August. Try and specifically target features along the bluff, such and rock formations or wood structures.
