Cass Lake is a beautiful fishery that is full of fish, Walleye, Pike, Perch and much more. It has a moderate population of Largemouth bass, they may not be overly abundant, but their size is definitely better than average. Team tourneys often take around 20lbs or more to win. Think of this as a smaller version of Leech lake with a lower population density of largies. But you can fish and attack it very similar to Leech Lake. Your best bet is Frogs, Buzzbait, Jigs and soft plastics around shoreline cover and emergent vegetation in 4ft of water or less. The water is mostly clear so natural colors are a great place to start.
