Lake Chickamauga is beginning to heat up as water temps begin to reach the high 60s/low 70s. Lots of fish can be found around main lake grass matts this time of year. Chatterbaits and other shad imitations are good choices to trick these feeding bass. You can also slow down and flip these stretches which can often produce quality fish this time of year. Fish can also be found in the backs of grass filled pockets feeding on frogs and other baitfish. The fall grass fishing should only get better on lake Chickamauga as the water temp continues to fall!
