Chickamauga Lake Fishing Report for Largemouth Bass using Frogs/Toads in Fall (Laydowns)
Reported by Patrick Walters on Oct 28, 2020
The Fall transition is one of the toughest times of the year to catch fish on the Tennessee River. The water is usually falling, massive schools of bait fish are in the grass, and cooler morning are upon us. And when this tougher bite sets in, I tend to head way up river and completely ignore the grass bite! Running up river to fish submerged wood and laydown trees with current moving by them are usually a prime hot spot!
