Fishing Report for Largemouth Bass using Soft Body Swimbaits (Small/Medium) in Winter

In the Winter the Spotted Bass on Lay Lake seemed to relate around any Channel Swing that had current and bait. The fish seemed pretty lethargic and didn't want to chase much. It was really important to get the bait down to the bottom of the channel, they didn't come up top very often unless it was a small feeding window. Best baits were a Dropshot, 3.3" Keitech, Swing-Head Jig with a Speed Craw, a Ned Rig, a few on a Jerkbait, and our biggest fish came off a chatterbait on the back of a sand drop in the main river channel.
