Fishing Report for Largemouth Bass using Soft Body Swimbaits (Small/Medium) in Spring (Pre-Spawn)

Water temps mid 40s to around 50. Few fish on flat sided crankbaits, like the Frittside 5 or Flat 75X, but swimbaits ruled the day, whether is was Missile Shockwaves & small keitechs on A-rigs, or small 2.8" Keitechs or 6" Magdrafts. Finding shad was important, but not too much bait, also common to run into occasional stripers to keep things fun. Caught fish from 2' to 10'. Shallow rocks & wood, docks, deeper rock piles and brush piles.
