Overall the size of largemouth in this lake is good. Some bonus good sized pike as well. Finding green weeds adjacent to hard spots was the key to finding fish. A semi-aggressive retrieve worked best. Concentrated on mid-depths.

Outing Date was 11/5/2025. Fished from about 12:30 to 4:30. Weather was medium winds out of the NW, water temps ranged from 50.5 to 51.5. Air temps were around 50. I started out trying some shallow stuff and throwing a frog and chatterbait and had no luck. Moved to outside weedlines and found them. Threw a 3/8 oz jig all day after that. Caught quite a few fish. Key was finding the thick weeds and then moving just to the outside edge of them. Most of the weeds had really died off and were very thin. Also caught 3 nice dock fish on the very few remaining docks in the water.

Had to work hard to find green weeds remaining in the late fall. Once I found them, I found the bass. There were strong winds and waves that were blowing the bait fish. Almost all chunky bass caught were caught on the shore the wind was pounding.

Outing date is for 10/29/2025. Weather was light wind, starting sunny turning partly cloudy. Fishing was from noon until 4pm. Water temps were from 50.5 to 52.5, air temps were in the low 50's. Started out shallow and caught a nice one on a jig in a clump of lilly pads and saw others up shallow sunning themselves, but they were very skittish. After close to 2 hours of cruising up shallow, I changed it up and tried to find the outside weedlines and it was the ticket! I found the weedlines varied between about 6.5 to 10 feet. The water was fairly clear. I ended up catching 7 more bass on the weedlines mostly on the east and west sides of the lake. I was using my trolling motor and depth finder to find the weedlines and throwing a jig ahead of the boat. Of the 7 weedline fish, 5 of them were absolutely chunky and almost prespawn fat. Good afternoon outing!

Lots of quality 2lb largemouth caught on laydowns with a chatterbait. Anywhere with wood and some rock seemed to hold bass. Also caught a few on the A-Rig slow rolling it parallel to stretches of laydowns.

Best fishing of the year for me. Non-stop Bass bites. Threw a white Z-Man chatterbait with a white Z-Man plastic and didn't change anything for two and a half hours! 🥳 The fish were colorful and chunky.

Found some of the big girls tonight after work! Fish were super shallow. Slow rolled the chatterbait over whatever vegetation was left. They had the feed bag on. Fish in the photo is 5.1lb on the Rapala scale. Caught a couple over 4lb as well.

Caught quite a few bass shallow in lily pads and around docks. Most bass were caught on a swim jig with a paddletail trailer in the lily pads, but a few were caught on shallow docks with a wacky worm and cue bomb.

Water temps are starting to really drop. Was cold windy out of the north west. Started with a spinnerbait and crank bait. Had one on crank bait. Switched to the All-Terrain Hail Mary Ned with A Rapala BLT and started crushing the bass. Had to just move slow and let them grab and go. Fished the outside weed lines and even a little more out where the weeds were very sparse.
