These Strike King Rage Bugs are absolute money for punching through reeds and lilly pads....which is a blast. They just don't get hung up like so many other similar brands/styles. And they flutter down to the bottom with amazing action. I don't think you can go wrong using these. Just need to pick one of the many colors they have that will get those bass going!

Fished the BBT tournament, weighed in 19.60, caught fish all day down south. Shaky head and drop shot did all the damage. Went back out Sunday for a couple hours and got a couple 4 pounders.

Sight fishing on beds. They were mostly built in the sand in the shallowest and sunniest spots. The Shimano Mastiff 6lb line worked great. I caught about 20 bass without retying and they were all between 2 and 5 lbs.

Fished a tournament in the pouring down cold rain after a week of warm weather. Bite was tough caught all 3 species of Bass (spot, largemouth and smallmouth) Bite definitely changed probably could have ran more bank with reaction and got it done. Used the new shimano mastiff line as leader material for my finesse applications an am so far happy with the performance.

This is my 2nd time using the Bellows Gill and I love them. It's incredible how they flutter through the water. It was a fairly muddy/mossy bottom where I was at, so I was slow retrieving/twitching it just off the bottom, and the bass just couldn't lay off of it. But I've also bounced it off the bottom and that's deadly as well.

Fished a club tournament on 3/23. Fish seemed to be bottom orientated but would come off the bottom to eat a crankbait or jerkbait. Areas with rock and wood seemed to be most productive. Caught plenty of fish biggest approx 2.5 lbs.

Spring time water is warming up and they are chomping on the chatterbait. The medium heavy glass rod has great action when reeling the bait in. Pre-spawn let it begin!
