The key today was a weightless Senko, making sure to keep the worm in the strike zone as long as possible. This particular color has always been the most productive for me and my friends at Lake Lowell.

Caught a few on a 5/16oz blk/blue booyah boo jig with attached rage chunk trailer fishing 1-10 feet around limited structure on small points. Not much vegetation to fish yet.

Windy day.with blue skies. Fish were eating TRD crawz and crawfish crank baits. No minnow or shad pattern bites for some reason

Weeds were choking the flooded timber, but boat or kayak is able to glide over the water plants to get back to where the bass were hanging in shallower water.

Post dinner to dark, super hot in shallow water. Also caught a handful of ambitious crappie.

Fish was in 2 ft of 46 degree water just goes to show how ready these big largies are to move up shallow after a long winter. Been a rough one for sure but with the sun out for the first time in a long time they were in 2-7 ft of water and ready to bite any spinnerbait or chatterbait that got in front of their faces

fishing the chain lakes with a swim jig is always a good place to start and find fish. you can switch around with trailers but a craw is usually best for me. water in the mid to upper 60's .
