Caught some bass with a jerkbait on the north side of the lake near the train tracks. Also caught some by the dock fishing shallow. With the cold water have to jerk slower with jerkbait, wait atheist 4 to 6 seconds.

The bass were in 6-10 feet of water in the green cabage. Swim jigs over the cabbage worked great to catch alot of fish and even a few grown ones.

Tough day on the water but ended up with a few nice ones. Had to cover alot of water to find one but when i did there was a few around. Reaction bite was key, bouncing your bait off branches and sticks was the key to getting bit.

Wacky worm is a killer here getting a fish almost under every single dock! Water was super dirty this year but the fishing is just as good with that black and blue wacky worm. Lots of high 2 pounders and some 3s in the mix as well!

Fished a HS derby on Clearwater flipping grass jigs and frogging the reeds. Got the frog bites up in the reeds while clearing out the roaming bass off the reeds with the Outkast Stealth Feider jig with a muscle back craw. Came out with a 5th place in this one!

Morning bite was great with a top water, I prefer a whopper plopper 90 (especially loon) or a walking bait. Once the heat comes out switching to a Texas rig or wacky rig was very productive in getting 4+lb large mouth in the reeds and cabbage. If your by docks I recommend having a football jig rigged up and get that thing under there.

Had 11 pounds out here and did most of my damage around docks and also was fishing gill beds. I caught one four-pounder that helped a ton and was able to take fourth place. Fish were very tough to catch due to the clear water and tough conditions.

Caught fish on shallow flat in isolated coontail clumps. Also found fish up in matted grass punching through matted grass and pads. Working the flat slow and thoroughly was key to maximizing number of bites in area.

With the water being so high you have to find a way to effectively cover and eliminate dead water, I flipped this bait up and down different stretches of flooded brush. Wherever I got bit I came back to the opposite direction with different baits and was able to narrow my fishing down to about a 50 yard stretch going back and fourth getting bit often! Switching between a bronco bug and then a more subtle trick worm.
