Little guy, but I am sure are probably others. Problem being they are super pressured on this small body of water. Had to fish it VERY slow.

Pitching and flipping to shade lines to get it done. Too hot for open water baits or anything moving. They are hot like we are. Skip under overhanging limbs and docks.

Caught a few this size. Of course always smaller fish in this lake due to lots of variables. Anyway, dipped the claws of the paca slim in some chartreuse dye to give this a glow under water. This was fishing along the rip rap bank next to the dam. Normally done get bit on chatterbait here at all but got lucky today.

Flipping this into emergent grass around the edges of the lake and swimming it back. Some bites are from swimming it back, but most are on the initial fall. Concentrate on the shadow lines where there is shade due to the heat. Smaller fish, yes, but I am sure there are a few larger ones out there. Anyway, fun to catch.

Little late this was from last Saturday morning, went out early for a few hours. Started searching for Bass on ledges, found a good ledge and ended up catching 2, but both came off at the boat, 💯 my fault too...you would think after the first one I would have checked my hook on my scrounger but nope...lesson learned. These three pictured 2 came on a buzzbait, and the other on a shakeyhead. On my buzzbait, was fishing 50lb no faid braid from @viciousfishing, shakeyhead had no faid braid with flurocarbon leader, and when I was ledge fishing was using 100% Fluorocarbon. My buzzbait rod is a 7ft 1in @jenkofishing gambler rod casting rod in medium heavy, shakeyhead is a 7ft 2in Gambler medium action. For my scrounger, was using a Gambler 7ft 5in Medium Moderate action casting rod. Just love these rods and how light they are and they never fail me!!! Best Rods I've ever used!

Spinning reel, with a reel and stop movement. Before sunset, the shad was feeding on bugs on the water surface, so the largemouth was taking advantage by smashing the surface.

Was cranking the bank line with a crank bait in the brightest color I had on me at the time. The water was chocolate milk and nasty. This did the job. Only caught a few, but it was fun. Unfortunately, he choked it down and hard a hard time getting the hook out.
