TechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSummerStructureFlooded BrushNew Moon brought sporadic action. LMBs seem to be tight to shoreline vegetation or deep under shade. Recent rains now are pushing the clarity to nil, so straight black has produced the best overall results, specifically a Trick Worm weightless Texas. The crack of dawn strangely has been tough with many bites coming around 730-930.

TechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSummerStructureLily PadsThe limited rainfall has them moving around quite a bit as it dries up more and more. Major solunar periods falling at sunrise/sunset are the best bet at the moment. Throw parallel to to shore as many of the bigger ones are hiding in vegetation in 1-3 feet. Good luck!

TechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonWinterStructureLily PadsSlow down the retrieve and go weightless. Texas rigged Yum 4 inch Dingers are getting majority of strikes. 5 inch stickbaits working well texas or wacky. Get out the day before a front for solid action. The days after a front expect cloudy darker water with low strikes and a change in color selection. Soft plastics getting most results.
