Largemouth BassTechniqueSoft Body Swimbaits (Small/Medium)SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureLedgesAs the water continues into the mid 70s expect solid fishing this April. Full moon on 4/6 should keep this week interesting and successful. The hottest bait for me lately has been the 6th Sense Divine Swimbaits in the 3.8 pro shad. They are killing it on a 1/4 or 1/8 oz ball jighead, or a 6th sense matched jighead if you want to get an even better experience. Yo-yo slightly while hitting different water columns and you're bound to score.

Largemouth BassTechniqueSoft Body Swimbaits (Small/Medium)SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureLily PadsGreat swimbait action when they are active, Using a 1/8 to 1/4 ball jighead will do the trick. Good time to throw the Fat Swings and bluegill colored soft plastics. Wacky is super hot right now with big fish enjoying the slow fall of a GP senko weightless. Go get you some!
- Species
Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureLily PadsRandom spawning occurring Bottom hopping trick worms and sticks has been most productive. Sporadic action on jerkbaits. Slower retrieves seem to be the best bet until the water spikes a little higher. Good luck!

Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureLily PadsSome spawn bass can be found but not many yet, as most beds are tilapia ridden. Throwing weightless Trick worms has been hot with watermelon red and GP being the best options. Soft plastics of any nature with these colors will produce. Ok action on jerkbaits and sexy frogs. Good luck!

Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructureLily PadsCan;t find too many spawners yet but some are mixed in around the never ending tilapia beds. Bigger fish are showing up more often, finally .Soft plastics getting the vast majority of response, particularly GP and Watermelon red/blk. 1/16 oz bullet is all you need to manage the water column if you chose not to go weightless. Should be a super solid March. Get some Ocho's, and some Tricks and lay it on em!
