Crayfish are the major forage on this clear lake, so use natural crayfish colors. Electronics with live contour mapping are a huge help to locate and anchor on the reefs. Drop shot with a fat leech is also super effective. Walleye fishing was tough but there is a healthy population in the lake and they are also known to like the leech dropshot. Really all you need is the Ned Rig and Drop Shot and you'll be quite successful on this lake. If you haven't already, try the Tiny Child rig which allows you to throw essentially an uber weedless/boulder proof rig right into a heap of boulders where some of the larger smallmouth may be hiding. Bring plenty of drop shot weights, because snags happen.
