Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureLily PadsFished the Apple River Flowage Saturday morning to Monday morning of Memorial weekend 2026. It was super weedy already, but we were able to catch largemouth a variety of ways. Topwater in super shallow back bays, speed worms (berkley speed boss) on the edges/outsides where there was a bit more depth, or punching/flipping open pockets in the vegetation. No real big ones, but most fish were well built.
