Had about an hour after work to fish. Nothing was working. Even trusty 'ol wacky senko! 😅 Was about to head home when I noticed as I quickly reeled in a small ned I was also fishing that it had a bass following it back to the bank. I tied on the white hula popper & used a technique I've had luck with before. I burn it in instead of popping it & it runs subsurface. I cast out as far as I could parallel to the bank & then burned it in fast! Nothing doing, or so I thought.... Right as the bait was at my feet, about a foot & a half off the bank, big girl exploded on it! About scared me right outta my socks! The fight was on! She was strong! Drag was screaming! Played her carefully, was afraid I'd lose her! Landed her & she was a beauty!!! My new PB at 6.16
