Combed the flats with a spinnerbait and lipless crankbait in the early afternoon hrs and finally managed a few while burning it across the tops of submerged vegetation. The best one coming in at 3.75 lbs.

It was a great day to be fishing but a tough day to be catching on assunpink lake today. Grinded out 2 keepers including this 3.85 pounder on a PBJ colored strike king jig off a shoreline break. The fall feed hasn't hit its stride just yet but hopefully will pick up soon.
