Wacky style with the new 5" Fat Senko was fire today. Compared to the original Senko, the increased diameter of the Fat Senko results in a slightly faster fall rate, which can be advantageous in certain situations. Also, the thicker profile of the Fat Senko makes it more visible to fish, potentially attracting more attention, especially in stained water. My key areas was outside weedlines.

The Z-Man chatterbait is hot on this lake! My approach was targeting deep outside weedlines (10-15 fow) and points, along with a slow, bottom-bumping retrieve.

Outing report is for July 9th, 2025. This was the third tournament in our Wednesday night tournament series with Greenhorn. Overall we didn't do so hot. Weather for the evening was calm and very warm, high in the low 80's with full sun. We caught lots of small bass in the 12 inch range, but struggled to get a good bite. We stuck up shallow all night and fished docks, pads and matted grass. One key seemed to be pad, or matted grass in the shade of trees. We skipped docks, threw frogs etc and just didn't get a big bite all night. Big was probably a little under 3 pounds. Overall we finished in 14th place........
