Largemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonFallStructureBouldersSunny warm day late in the season, 67 water temps. Fish had been on the rocks and caught with plastics earlier in the week, but transitioned between rock and shore in 3-5 feet of water in the morning. Horizontal moving lures worked best. Largest was 20.25 inches and a hair shy of 6 lbs.

Largemouth BassTechniqueFinesse JigsSeasonSummerStructureReedsSlow afternoon but the beast coast finesse jig pulled a few largemouth out of the reeds.

Largemouth BassTechniqueGrass JigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationSlowly working a jig in isolated grass in 6-10ft.
Species
Largemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSummerStructureReedsSlow day. Lots of rec traffic but managed a few. Fish were found on points or in the shallow grass. I continued to be impressed with the Shimano Mastif 12lb fluorocarbon. The durability and knot strength are fantastic! After having it spoiled on for two months it’s worth the investment. The Mustad 3/0 Alpha finesse has really proven itself a solid choice. I’ve caught countless fish on it (including pike) and this thing has stayed sharp and held its shape. The Alpha is perfect for skipping 4” stick baits under docks.
