Mid may action after MN opener. Only small fish were up shallow and easy to catch during the first days of this trip. The weather was unseasonably hot and the water warmed quickly. On my 5th straight day fishing Bello Lake in Itasca County. A storm was heading in for the afternoon and the fishing was 🔥🔥🔥! I boated 3 bass over 18", missed a couple that were over 18" when they spit the hook on jumps and boated at least 30 bass. WOOHOO!
