It was an absolute grind of an event with a lot of pressure from other fishers and pleasure boaters. The top water bite turned in as the sun came over the horizon. It only lasted about an hour or so. I caught my key fish on a frog over the submerged grass close to rock piles. I did manage one on a bone Sexy Dawg in open water in the back of a pocket.
