Carp took over the southern end of the rip rap banks for spawning or feeding. Had better luck fishing rip rap and laydowns between docks along shoreline north of Anchor Bay launch. Water quality was less than 3 feet. Most fish were caught close to structure so had to make contact with rocks and laydowns with a crankbait or pitch a texas rig underneath docks and laydowns.

Stuck to the main channel in areas with deeper wood structure that gave breaks in the heavy water current. Tubes and swim jigs were the key.
