Largemouth BassTechniqueFrogs/ToadsSeasonSummerStructureLily PadsThis is such a beautiful lake but it does not seem to hold big bass. If they are there, they must be hiding in deep water. The lake was very clear and could not see any fish other than short, skinny bass in very shallow water. You could probably use just about any bait and catch these small bass but I caught the majority on a frog, which was fun. I’ve been enjoying using the new Mastiff FC. Haven’t had any issues with it and seems durable.
