Largemouth BassTechniqueWacky RigsSeasonFallStructureDocksIt was windy and cold with an air temperature of 37 degrees fahrenheit. My buddies were fishing for muskies and I was in the back of the boat and fishing for bass. Bone he as a lot of great structure with drop offs and points where I found plenty of bass in the Summer. Today those places didn't produce. Instead, I threw a green pumpkin Senko next to the few remaining docks. I let it sink to the bottom and waited about a minute before reeling in the slack. Usually at that point a largemouth bass picked it up. I managed to catch 8 fish.

Largemouth BassTechniqueSpinnerbaitsSeasonWinterStructureSubmerged VegetationI used a Mr Twister Twister Tail Grub with a Spinner blade. The bass were pushing perch and minnows towards shore, so casting into the greenest weeds worked the best.

Largemouth BassTechniqueNed RigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationFishing was really tough, managed a few good ones milking out some key areas with lots of blue gill I could not see the bass as they where in the weeds but the mega live was loaded with blue hills I’d cast the ned rig and let it sit, until I got bit.

Largemouth BassTechniqueNed RigsSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureDocksFirst Fat Belly Bassmasters tournament today! Fish were skittish today with the blue skies and little to no wind. I was able to downsize to a small Ned rig and found them usually tucked up under docks. Put a few quality fish in the boat this way (2-3lb). Also had a bit of success using a wacky rig.
