Fishing was slower than it has been the last few weeks but I still managed to find some smallmouth on rock piles. Drop shot was the key. They seemed to be around offshore rocks with vegetation.

I caught a bunch of smallies this day. They were smashing the popper. I would throw it around logs and high percentage bank spots. I also caught them on drop shots, wacky rigs, and wake baits.
