    Weather is hot wind 5 to 15 mph fish are 12 to 16 feet deep hanging below brush piles slow putting jig just above the fish and as they approach very slowly pulling it up causing fish to strike. Natural colors are working best shonuff chartreuse

    I was able to find a few smallies on offshore rockpiles with the drop shot but got more of them shallow throwing at trees in the water with the pink senko wacky rigged.

    Fishing was slower than it has been the last few weeks but I still managed to find some smallmouth on rock piles. Drop shot was the key. They seemed to be around offshore rocks with vegetation.
