I had best luck when I found hard bottom on points. I caught a couple dragging a Texas rigged worm but caught biggest of the day on a green pumpkin flat worm.

Was having a super tough day out on the pond and could only catch 10 inches on a trd. Later in the evening I saw some cheese and it wasn’t even mapped because of the standing timber EVERYWHERE. But it was a like 4-10 ft off the end of this tiny point compared to 20-30 ft off the bank near it. (It’s hard to find shallow banks) I could hear bluegill popping in the cheese floating over the stumps. I was twitching the frog very slow but still walking it. Typical frog setup, 7’ 3” Hvy, Fast Gear Ratio Reel, (7:5:1 or above) and 40 lb Suffix 832 Braid.
