70+ fish caught on the inside weed lines, lots of fish on beds. Biggest 5 were 13+ lbs

Fished the windy side weeds with a swim jig. Sunfish colors with a paddle tail. Fish were holding tight on the weeds. Mostly smaller bass, but a few 3+ fish decided to bite.

Fish are starting to move to to the deeper rock piles, they weren’t schooled up yet so I was picking one off here and there. My best success came of a drop shot with a Billy Rub Hawt Shot

The vegetation in Buffalo Lake is lacking and what is there is mostly dead or unhealthy. But if you take the time to find the rock piles with some amount of vegetation on them in 2-6ft, pitch a swim jig into the grass, you just might snatch a donkey. A bright or bold color will be your best option as the water clarity is no more than 2-3ft on average. Chartreuse added into your presentation will generate some extra bites on sunny days, and straight black almost always produces well here
