TechniqueSwim JigsSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureRock PileThe vegetation in Buffalo Lake is lacking and what is there is mostly dead or unhealthy. But if you take the time to find the rock piles with some amount of vegetation on them in 2-6ft, pitch a swim jig into the grass, you just might snatch a donkey. A bright or bold color will be your best option as the water clarity is no more than 2-3ft on average. Chartreuse added into your presentation will generate some extra bites on sunny days, and straight black almost always produces well here
