Dipped the tip of the Senko tail in spike-it to more mimic the bluegills. Also adding the Z-Man rattle snakers in the cover scat helped.

It was very windy today. Had no luck using a Ned Rig, Senko, or Spinnerbait. Started to use the Cover Scat to cast into the wind. That worked. Caught 4 in 90 minutes. casting from the fishing pier. The largest was 18 inches.

Had a nice evening at Buhl Lake. The two best baits were the Cover Scat & Fat Swing Impact. The Z-Man Bulletz jig head pairs nicely with a 3.3" Keitech (a drop of superglue helps). It comes through weeds easily with no snags. Of course, a dab of chartreuse Spike-It on the tail helps
