They ate a classic green pumpkin TRD really well, but the bigger fish came off a 3" megabass spark shad on either a 1/4oz ball head jig or a 1/8oz Okashira Screw Head

Larger baits couldn’t seal the deal despite marking lots of fish, so downsizing to a smaller spoon tipped with a medium minnow was the ticket.

White VMC Hatchet Spoon tipped with a whole shiner. Lots of baitfish cruising through, fishing a shelf that separates deep water from a shallow flat. 30-50 ft seems to be the ticket this January.
