TechniqueShallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6')SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureStanding TimberCaddo is in a little bit of a funk right now but there are still fish to be caught. I fished cypress trees next to or close by to creek channels. Specifically focusing on isolated trees or tight clusters of trees. Cranking and throwing a spinnerbait at various anglers around the trees proved to very effective. Occasionally I would come across a matt of vegetation an got a couple bites but not near as many as fishing the cypress trees.

TechniqueShakey HeadsSeasonSummerStructureLily PadsShaky heads around the lilypads. seemed to like the 6" motor oil/chartreuse tail combo best. No need for special jigs, i like a ball head with no collar but I dont buy them special, I would rather use something multipurpose.
