Largemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSummerStructureBrush PilesHad myself a day on the Delta! The Jack Hammer with the Zoom Split tail trailer was just killing it! Casting into/under any brush overhanging the water, as close to the shoreline as I could get, and then hold on. Got the triple crown, catching Spotties, Large Mouth and Smallies. Even had my third double-up of the year on 6th Sense medium dive Crank Bait. Sending a crank bait next to any pilings was on fire today.

The fish were up shallow feeding in less than 4ft of water. The key was fishing the transition between the high tide to the low tide.

Solid punch bite on the CA delta today. Lots of quality fish willing to bite a Reacction Innovations Sweet Beaver. Used a 1.5oz weight to get through the mats. Caught around 15-20 fish all on the punch in the 2-3lb class range.

High tide and the prop bait strikes again over submerged vegetation and caught this 5lb large mouth black bass

In the heat of the day on low tide, the punch bite was decent. On high tide a jack hammer chatterbait was good. Overall the bite wasn't as good as I would have expected. A buzzbait is also an option. Frog bite should have been better.

Walking bait is the favorite bait for stripers. The explosion is just amazing. There is no better feeling.
