Largemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSummerStructureBrush PilesHad myself a day on the Delta! The Jack Hammer with the Zoom Split tail trailer was just killing it! Casting into/under any brush overhanging the water, as close to the shoreline as I could get, and then hold on. Got the triple crown, catching Spotties, Large Mouth and Smallies. Even had my third double-up of the year on 6th Sense medium dive Crank Bait. Sending a crank bait next to any pilings was on fire today.

The late summer and early fall bite is in full effect. Fished a few hours and found lots of small bass up shallow. Punched the grass mats with a 1.5 oz weight and green pumpkin sweet beaver for lots of bites and a better grade of fish.

Slaynation tournament, the true center was working. Great time, current breaks with reeds.

Top water popper with a rattle. They werent committing to the Silent version switched over to a rattle top water popper and they began biting. Shallow water 2 to 4 feet of water

Casting the Gratt Sneaky Pete Silent version on the Lews Speed Stick 7’6 heavy (my favorite rod for punching or throwing big baits!) in shallow water (2-4ft) on the California Delta.

The CA delta is pumping out lots of fish right now. Found lots of fish from 1-2lbs on moving baits like the chatter bait and lipless. The best bite however was punching mats with a 1.5oz tungsten weight and Reacction innovations sweet beaver. Caught plenty of fish in a quick 3-4 hour evening of fishing.
