Wish I had a picture of the 5+ pounder that got away....but I got her close enough before she escaped to know it would have been my biggest of the year...so far. (Clear Lake is on the near horizon for me....) Also had a nice top water blow up on the Vega Frog from 6th Sense. Love that Frogville pattern.

Summer summer summer timeeee. Reaction baits and top water are in right now. Most fish are post spawned and are hungry. I just dragged this over top of submerged vegetation and this big boy came out of nowhere.

The spro crank was the only thing working for me. The were on the outside weed lines near rip rap.

Method was just casting a rattle trap just short of the tulies and retrieving. We landed 20 fish on the boat and kept 8. Mostly largemouth bass but also some spotted and striper. Landed my pb, a 4lb largemouth!
