There are a few bass here and there but not near enough for a big tournament. I caught one short in the harbor where we launched on a tiny Swimbait. I also caught a three pounder in a pond by the hotel. That was it. Three of 75 boats caught a limit.

But if you don't want to catch the white bass, run the larger ones or that's pretty much all you'll catch. Most people don't know this technique works here because of that reason. However, the Largemouth are there, you just have to get your bait to them without the White bass getting it first.
