Started out on a white bass mission but the pike had other ideas. With all the rain this spring the water level was up flooding some brush and grass. Pike were ambushing smimbaits of all sizes as we rolled them through the flooded cover in about 3-4 feet of water. The Z-Man Drew's rod is great especially for a younger kid and handled the feisty pike!

The walleye bite has been great over the last several weeks between Castle Rock Lake and Wisconsin Dells Kilburn Dam. Tuesday we landed 79 walleye and kept 5 in the slot. Kalin’s Google Eye Live Bait Jig with minnow remain top presentation.
