We were casting directly at the bank and dragging/popping the jig. Most bites came about 10ft or so into the retrieve in about 10-15ft of water.

Tough day of fishing but was still was able to get a trifecta, 2 largemouth bass, 3 spotted bass and 3 smallmouth bass. Shaky head produced as well as a Strike King crankbait in sexy shad. Caught the day's best keeper on a Texas rigged Zoom Speed craw.

For center hill lake the fishing can be tough, especially with the current boat traffic. Focus on main lake pockets with laydowns while tossing a 6" lizard texas rigged. Slow down your retrieve and drag the lizard on the bottom. Throwing a smaller tungsten weight (1/4oz) has been producing the most strikes on the baits fall.

Carolina Rig working as well. Had success fishing smallmouth under shad at 30+ foot with craw colored senko. Just follow the shad and they are there typically.
