You should find the smallmouth and spotted bass staged up feeding on crawfish and the occasional school of threadfin that wander by as the bass refuse to chase bait very far at this time due to the cold water temps. However they are seceptable to shallow to medium driving cranks fished on light line and slow gear ratio reels.
