TechniqueSoft JerkbaitsSeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureBaitfishCaught a handful on Zoom Super Fluke, everything from 2lbs to 3lbs, they were shallow, 1-4ft of water. Trick was dead sticking the bait and watching your line jump.

TechniqueMedium Diving Crankbaits (7'-12')SeasonSummerStructureRock PileFish have pushed out to deeper rock areas on the lake. Was able to put a dozen fish in the boat on DT10, Keitech football jig, and couple on spro Chad Shad glide. Need to spotlock on spots and work them slow. Fish were present but hard to get bit unless you worked the area over slow and made multiple casts to same area.

TechniqueWacky RigsSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureDocksFish were everywhere shallow. Not quite on beds which was surprising. Just junk fish and you'll still catch plenty.

TechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationOn the East end of the lake that follows Main street (same end as where the ski jump is) Chatter baits are a stable for me. Any kind will prove successful. However Jackhammer in the Black/Blue does best. For trailer, when they are really chewing the RaZor ShadZ is best, so you don't burn through baits... But Zako when the bite isn't quite on, or the trench hawg (this is like your old school split tail trailer).

TechniqueDeep Diving Crankbaits (13'+)SeasonSummerStructureRock PileThe main key to catching the bigger bass in this lake was deep cranking the old pump house on the lake. The pump house is full of massive boulders and hard bottom across the point. Cranking the boulders or the transition line between the hard bottom and milfoil is how to get those couple key bites. Also paying attention to the baitfish around you was a good clue to the puzzle because of the timing of where the baitfish would sit around the boulders or weeds throughout the day.
