Fished chambers lake from 8-1. Tried a variety of baits/lures all morning (spinnerbait, swim jig, jerk baits, crankbait, chatterbait) and had no bites. Spoke with another angler on the water who mentioned squarebills were working earlier in the morning but then stopped. I decided to downsize my offering to a small underspin jig (chartreuse) with a 2.5 inch gulp minnow. Ended up catching one smallish 12-14" largemouth bass just before I had to leave. Caught in about 11' of water on a submerged weedline. I also missed a couple bites that may have been smaller bluegills or panfish as I saw quite a few fish hanging around the weedline on my electronics.

Caught over half a dozen bass using a weedless swim jig with a ribbon tail worm teaser and a craw teaser. Largest was around 2.5 pounds.
