Panfish related around the main river channel. Holed and humps proved to be especially important for big gills. Fish of size were finnicky and had to be jigged for several minutes. Water is stained so bright and gaudy colors worked well.

Bass were hanging around emergent grass along with lily pads. There was about an hour window in the morning where they were crushing a steady retrieve toad. Fish also seemed to be chasing small panfish around. A wacky worm and fluke caught a few that missed the bait on top.
