Largemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationThrowing a chatterbait on big weed flats with submerged stumps produced good numbers of fish. Throwing a frog in to the reeds and also the matted up eel grass also produced fish.

There was about an hour window in the morning where they were crushing a steady retrieve toad. Fish also seemed to be chasing small panfish around. A wacky worm and fluke caught a few that missed the bait on top.

Fished a Tuesday night tournament and took 5th with about 14lbs. Bass were located on the outside edge of shallow weed lines. Caught lots of bass throughout the day/evening and just had to slowly cull up. Also caught a few bass deep on cribs with a jig.

Fish of size were finnicky and had to be jigged for several minutes. Water is stained so bright and gaudy colors worked well.
