Use your electronics to find feeding fish (sometimes it is as easy as seeing the shad flee). Fish seemed to be off reefs just adjacent to creek arms on the drop into the river channel. Look for the multiple brush piles that are throughout the lake. Once a school has been located fish them slowly with a dropshot. Swimbaits slow rolled worked also. A slow presentation seemed to be the key in triggering a bite.
