First cool morning of fall and the fish were chewing! Throwing the slobberknocker near any hard cover like lay downs, brush piles, or docks would generate a bite almost every time. The key was to be as close as possible to that piece of cover with your lure because they were holding tight to it.

Spring on Chickamauga means one thing, throwing a lipless crankbait in the grass. Throw a 3/8 or 1/2 oz bait in water deeper than 5'. Stick with a 1/4 oz bait in shallower grass. If you need a more subtle bait turn to the Damiki vault to get you more bites! Make as long of a cast as possible, and reel your bait so that it ticking the grass. Don't be afraid to rip your bait if it gets bogged down in the grass
