Through jigs at them, some damiki style small jigs, swimbaits, and the jerkbait. Finally got bit on the 5 in savage gear shiner swimbait followed it up with the jerkbait to get him in the net.

Middle of summer, when the water is still clear. The bites getting tougher and tougher. Reach for a neko rig and find some submerged grass, most of the good stuff is 5-10 ft and just tick this bait along the top of it almost like you were dragging a dropshot.

Water is up, water is dirty. Lots of grass drifting around the last few weeks. Fish are starting to feed up. Take a frog and a flipping setup and put the baits where the fish live. Depending on what the weather does this year, this bite may not last very long before we start getting colder water.
