Started the morning fishing rock piles with shakey heads and neko rig with the new Mustad Alpha hook I’ve been testing (works great!) Switched to the frog at 10am both mornings which produced the bigger bites.

TechniqueWacky RigsSeasonSummerStructurePointsWater Temp: 79-82 Water Clarity: Dirty(0-2foot visibility) Fishing: Tournament prefishing. On water 6:30-12:30. Wind was 1-3mph with gusts of 4 mph. Caught 12 fish in 6 hours. Fish were concentrated on points and entrances of small coves. Strikes were shallow early in the morning and went to depths around 10’ by noon. Senko bite was great in the morning but died off; as fish went deeper drop shot picked up! Tips: Try to find clean water. Rattlesnake arm was clearest (today). Gear: Shimano Vanford spinning reel, 8lb floro Sunline Sniper leader, Dobyns Fury 703SF, Gamakatsu Swivel Shot, Robo worm MM.

Neko rig was the main player but got some cranking. Used that Mustad Alpha hook again with great success.
